SUMMARY
I have been involved in education for almost 35 years during which time I have
experienced a broad range of challenges in a variety of working situations.
From this experience I have achieved a wide range of skills and a thorough working
knowledge of the national curriculum in all its applications inclusive of provision
for special educational needs through the code of practice.

Responsible for class of 30 with a heavy weighting of special needs to deliver
all areas of the
curriculum. Liaised with parents and other educational agencies. Undertook responsibility
for out of school societies and educational trips. Periodic team teaching with
other members
of staff to deliver specialist skills in my own curriculum area.

Worked in a variety of schools experiencing different approaches and exchanging
ideas.
Undertook professional development through courses to enhance skills with a
view to seeking a
permanent post.
Break from full time educational employment due to raising family.
Was employed by Dove Cottage Trust and Charlotte Mason College of Education.Also
ran own
business for six years and worked in the antiques trade.
