Suddenly everything is insane.
The Earth has broken free from
its moorings and hauled itself up from the depths
to shake itself free, in explosions of spray
and showers of gannets.
Everything moves.
Even the horizon is unleashed
and leaps about as a mad dog.
About the boat, the sea gurgles and slithers.
